Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Forests and woodlands (Wagner et al., 2001). Our records come from riparian and cove forests, bogs, and high elevation forests.
Larval Host Plants: A very generalist feeder. Recorded hosts include alder, ash, aspen, birch, blueberry, cinquefoil, currant, maple, New Jersey tea, poplar, Spirea, and willow; other reported hosts include conifers but are in need of confirmation (Wagner et al., 2001) - View
