Habitats: Both of our records for this species come from the Piedmont, suggesting that Eastern Red Cedar was the host plant that was used in North Carolina

Comments: This is primarily a northern species and has not been recorded in North Carolina since at least 1938, when Brimley published the Insects of North Carolina, the only source of records for this species in the state
