Habitats and Life History
Habitats: Barrens, woodlands, forests, and wetlands (Wagner et al., 2001). Our records come from high elevation forests, cove forests, riparian forests, and rock outcrops in the Mountains. Our few records from the Piedmont come from seeps.
Larval Host Plants: Polyphagous, with larvae feeding on many species of hardwood trees and shrubs as well as Hemlock and Fir - View
