Eastern NC to FL and west to eastern TX.
AbundanceShown as "rare" in NC on Weakley's (2023) map.
HabitatPresumably in savannas and pine flatwoods, as the parent species occur in such pine wetlands.

IdentificationNot in Weakley's (2023) key.
Taxonomic CommentsThis is a hybrid of L. alopecuroides and L. prostrata. It has not been "named" as yet, as opposed to Lycopodiella x brucei.
