Description: A yellowish species with two very large and bold black spots on the margin of the vertex, with two smaller black spots between them at the apex. The head is bluntly rounded, and the face has a symmetrical, barred black pattern. The pronotum is yellow, with a transverse band on the anterior margin and broad orange band on the posterior margin. The female pregenital sternite is emarginate posteriorly, with the excavation having a small median concave notch. The male subgenital plates gradually narrow to acute tips. Adults are 2.5-3.0 mm long. (DeLong 1948)
