Description: A very distinctive species that, as the scientific name suggest, is bicolored. The head, eyes, and upper half of the thorax are black while the rest of the body and wings are brownish. The first antennal segment is black while the second is a contrasting brown, and the face is brown. The species is typically macropterous (long-winged), but brachypterous (short-winged) adults do occur.

Habitats: Has been found near mixed hardwood forest.
