Description: Species in this genus are often sexually dimorphic with females paler than males. Species can also be macropterous or brachypterous (long or short-winged). This species is fulvous overall, with orange-brown wings, body, and legs. There is a thin pale midline down the thorax and vertex. The face is dark, and there are several dark lines on the thorax and vertex.

Abundance: Uncommon, recorded from several counties in the Piedmont and Coastal Plain; probably more abundant in the right habitat.
