Description: A yellowish to whitish species, with a pale median stripe contrasting with the darker sides. There is a broad lateral brownish stripe on each side of the dorsum and two largely diagonal stripes on the elytra (darker in males). The ventral lobes of the ninth abdominal segment are also brown. The vertex projects in front of the eyes about one-third of its length. Brachypterous males are 3 mm long while females are 4 mm. (Beamer, 1955)
